Getting to Phillip Island
Phillip Island has so much to offer – you should plan to stay at least one night. A day trip from Melbourne and back again does not allow enough time to enjoy the island, especially if seeing the penguins.
For the more adventurous, Inter Island Ferries run three services a day from Stony Point to Cowes, via French Island. You can catch a train from Frankston to Stony Point, which meets the ferry.
Phillip Island is packed full of attractions and people are often surprised when they see how much there is to do and see.
